Minako Abe, MD is here today to discuss Modulating Cancer Through Lifestyle Changes. Dr. Abe explains cancer, and gives us tips to boost our immune systems. She’ll speak at length on the impact of exercise, nutrition, and mindset, among other subjects, on cancer. So many people are getting diagnosed with cancer (around 1 out of 3 women in the US), and the time to make changes is now!
Minako Abe, MD is the director of the Tokyo Cancer Clinic in Japan. She attended UC Berkeley and earned her M.D. at SUNY Stony Brook and has dual U.S. board certifications in Emergency Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine. Practicing in NY/NJ for over 15 years, she found that nearly 80% of what came to the ED was related to unhealthy lifestyle choices. She then had the opportunity to move to Tokyo, Japan to take over her father’s cancer immunotherapy clinic and decided that to best serve her community, she would help patients thrive and not just survive by boosting their immune system to fight cancer with both lifestyle interventions and cellular immunotherapy. She can be found on Facebook @LifestyleMedDoc, on Instagram @dr.minako, on LinkedIn @minako-abe-63631120a, and her website at https://www.drminako.com/. Dr. Abe is offering CYH listeners a free 1-hour immunotherapy consultation (via zoom if not in Tokyo, Japan). Contact her at https://tokyocancerclinic.jp/lang/en/.
